Merry Christmas.. not...

So... we had a different Christmas this year, after the name party (which was really nice and went really well) I got the Winter vomiting bug between the 22nd and the 23rd, then J got it and then mum, so no Christmas for us, I was sleeping most of the actual day (only made it up for an hour in the evening before I passed out again). It's now boxing day and we have still not opened any presents, eaten any Christmas Ham and we don't even have a tree. I'm feeling a bit better today and my milk is starting to come back (although, thank God for formula!!). This Christmas is just FAIL!!! : )

BUT - We are so happy that Axel didn't get it, and he is getting more and more cute with his smiles and he is getting really good at the baby gym (after hours of entertaining in it ha ha). And at least we have each other and we are all feeling much better now and had a proper breakfast this morning, and we will try and go out a bit today to get some fresh air and hope this is it!

My aunt managed to get it as well - she sent a text message to my sis saying -

Ohhh and all the Christmas outfits for Axmas are unused.. well that's not true, I put a romper suit on that I got from Nyasha and Steve, but he managed to poo all over it after just an hour!!

An ordinary day in Sweden!!!

I woke up this morning that the whole room vibrated, I was sooo tired and thought that it was the neighbour's washing mashine that was super crazy and fell asleep again.

My big sis called me around 11 and asked if I've felt the earthquake (4.7 on the scale).... talk about tiredness mixing up a earthquake with a heavy spin cycle, can't wait until J arrives on Saturday, really need some help with Axel, feel like I'm going insane!

The journey and fears

I have meant to update the blog for quite a while but Axel is really not well at the mo, tummy ache and grumpiness! ARRRGGGG
and I think he might be developing a mummy addiction, I can hardly put him down before he gets upset and wants to come up again. I miss our nice mulitcoloured baby gym with hours of entertainment in store, so hard to type with just one hand!

The flight to Sweden went ok, I had 3 fears before we left -
1. That he would do a super poo just when we took off and poo on his clothes, on me and maybe even on the neightbour in the seat next to us
2. That the buggy would break in transit
3. That we would not fit into the car with all our stuff

J had other more real fears, like the car would break down on the motorway or that we forgot the passports.

We did arrive safely at Heathrow with our passports in hand, had some lunch, checked in our (flipping heavy) suitcase and bought a bag for the buggy (which I was able to take all way to the gate). After a tearful good bye by the security check, me and Axmax was on our own. The flight was 45 min late so I thought I change his nappy just before we had to go to the gate, with 15 min to spare I find the baby changing room, change his nappy and just as I put him in the buggy I can hear a loud poo sound, so I changed his nappy again and then he pooed yet again.. I was in the baby changing room for over 10 min (there was even people knocking on the door making sure I wasn't dead or something). A bit shaken that he would have pooed on the plane should it have been on time!!! He slept the whole time while on the plane and the buggy arrived safe and sound : ) My sister came and picked us up in her big SAAB. So all in all, no problemo!

Except maybe Axel screaming the whole car journey home and evening, a great first impression : )

Getting nervous now....

Can't believe it's Tuesday and only 4 days until we are off to SWEDEN.. woohooo. Bought a rucksack today to have as hand luggage, changed some clothes that we got to Axel and had a nice walk with Birte and Bo. Had a look at a watch with J, hopefully Santa will bring it to me : )

I find it a bit difficult to write in my blog everyday Axmax is taking up more and more of my time (read- sleeps less and less) , but will try at least a couple of times a week, if not I might just put photos in, think that's the most fun with the blog anyway!

Lovely Saturday

Had a lovely afternoon evening at B's house, all 5 couples from our parenting group were there and although I see some of them most weeks, it's always nice to see them all together (and the men as well). Birte had done lovely soup and we had German "Glögg" (Mulled Wine).

J's family is coming tomorrow, we are having lunch and then we are going to church to watch Swedish Lucia, can't wait!!!

Oh, and I bought a suitcase last week for me going to Sweden, I just saw that the store I bought it in have 20% sale, so I'm gonna return it and buy another better bag for the same price tomorrow morning, every penny counts and I hate it when you feel that you paid too much for an item.

Just spoke to Katie, when I got off the phone I saw that Axmax had fallen asleep while playing with his new toys bless his cotton socks, not easy having a mum that's always on the phone : )

.. not mine believe it or not ha ha, instead it's a blog called Failblog. I must admit it's quite funny, so to attract J's attention I have inserted my own fail photos below ------->



I have even started to say FAIL when something is wrong or failed completely..not so good and probably quite annoying : )

(for those who can't see what's wrong with the candle- it's an advent day candle that's suppose to burn down the numbers until you get to 24, but all it does is burning a big hole in the middle ha ha FAIL, thank God I bought it on sale last year. )

And where did the week go???

I can't believe it's Thursday already and only 1 week and 2 days until I fly to Sweden, so excited but also a bit nervous as J is staying in Brighton a bit longer so we are flying by ourselves. I bought a suitcase so that feels good, and I changed Axel's pram to the sit up chair and he seems to like it and can sleep in it which is good : ) Had my hair done today while Val was baby sitting Axel (she came with me to the hairdressers), then we went to lunch in Lewes and then I'm having the last massage session tonight, so a real good day all in all!

Gosh the weekend went fast!!!

I can't believe that the time goes soooo quick! Been out shopping all day, some Christmas presents and other things needed - like nappies and cupcakes. I didn't buy anything for myself, but lots of nice goodies for J, it was his birthday yesterday, he bought a pair of Jeans that I wrapped and gave him, but then I got a bit guilty as I forgot to even buy him a card so I guilt bought him a pair of nice inside slippers (socks) from Axel : )

Went to see Jo and Mat and little Isabelle tonight, was lovely seeing her- so newly baked bless her : ) Axel looked massive compare to her.
